Centrally located in the walled upper town known as ‘le Plateau’, our flat is situated on one of the most beautiful squares in the beating heart of Angoulême, Place Francis Louvel. Combining a wealth of history with a friendly atmosphere, this area, known for its charming cobbled streets and elegant buildings, is a lively place to visit, dotted with cafés, restaurants and shops. It's the ideal base from which to explore and discover all that Angoulême has to offer.
Arriving by plane: From Bordeaux-Mérignac airport (BOD): Take the shuttle bus or tram from the airport to Bordeaux's Saint-Jean station. From there, take a direct train to Angoulême station (a 30-50 minute journey). At Angoulême station, from the Alpha media library, take the free shuttle bus to the Louvel stop at the foot of your building. Alternatively, a taxi from the station will cost you around €10 and take about 5 minutes.

Arriving by car: Go to 20 rue Saint André, 16000 Angoulême. While you unload your suitcases, park in warning at the foot of the building in front of the estate agency. We'll give you all our parking tips the day before your arrival, and there are plenty of them close to the building.
The area around your flat is safe and pleasant, making it easy to get around on foot, both day and night.
